"Hi, I'm Emilie and I am your Chairman for the Streator 4th of July KIDS KORNER events." 

Kids Korner is a morning of activities for children of all ages to participate in games and activities hands on and best of all FREE!!

Local business and organizations will be gathering in Streator City park from 9a.m-noon on July 3rd, to bring the youth of our community some fun. 

We have things such as Ring Toss, Putting green contests, face painting, temporary tattoos, Balloons, kids can take a journey thru Streator Fire Departments "Smoke House", be visited by AMT ambulance service "Andy the Ambulance", Jump in the Moon walks provided by St. Mary's Hospital and give aways, with bikes being donated by the Streator Police Department, and much much more.....

 Activities and games change every year, so come out and see what kind of fun you and your child can have.

 Along with KIDS KORNER, we also have a kids BIKE RACE. 

There are 3 categories:

 3 year old or 3 wheelers

4-5 year old with training wheels

4-5 year old with out training wheels

Each child is required to bring there our bike to ride.  Parents will need to be present to sign a release waiver. 

Sign up for the race will begin at 9:00 a.m. at KIDS KORNER, Race will begin approximately around 9:30a.m.
